When you cook scrambled eggs in the air fryer, you get a quick and easy, perfectly cooked plate of scrambled eggs you don't have to stand over the stove for. Air fried scrambled eggs are perfect for busy mornings in the kitchen when you need to have your hands free!

EQUIPMENT

  • Air Fryer
  • Bowl and Whisk
  • Spatula

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/4 cup cheese, shredded (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place 1 Tablespoon of butter into a foil, metal, or glass pan that fits into your basket in the air fryer. Heat this at 300 degrees for 2 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the 3 eggs, 3 Tablespoons of milk, ½ teaspoon salt, and a pinch of pepper. Cook this at 325 degrees for 6 minutes. Stir the egg mixture slightly with a spatula. If you are going to add cheese, do it now.
  • Bake for another 3-5 minutes at 325 degrees. Scramble up the eggs and serve immediately.

NOTES

  • Because every air fryer is different, I recommend that the first time you make these, you cook them in 3-minute increments, stirring at each interval, making sure you don't overcook them.
  • Adding too much pepper to your eggs (no matter how you cook them) can cause them to blacken or give them a brown hue. If you like plenty of pepper, wait till the end to add more!
  • If you don't want to use butter, you can use olive oil instead or spray your basket with cooking spray. You do need to add something, though, because your eggs will stick otherwise.
