INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the flank steak into thin slices and coat each piece lightly in cornstarch. Place the steak strips into your air fryer basket and generously spray with cooking oil. Flip each piece and spray the other side.
Air fry at 370 degrees for 7 minutes.
While the steak is cooking, combine oyster sauce, brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder and ground ginger to a mixing bowl and whisk together.
Pour the sauce into a medium saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. Once it has thickened, remove from heat and add your cooked steak to the sauce then toss together to coat.
Serve over rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
NOTES
Storage Instructions:
If you have any leftovers, you can transfer them to an airtight container and refrigerate them for 2 days. The best way to reheat this Mongolian beef is to microwave it. Air frying it will actually cause the sticky sauce on it to start burning.
