This Air Fryer Chili Cheese Tots recipe is a crave-worthy combination of deliciously crispy tater tots, flavorful chili, and gooey melted cheese for a dish that’s simple and satisfying.

INGREDIENTS
16oztater tots
cooking oil

1/2cupcheese, shredded

INSTRUCTIONS
Begin by adding frozen tater tots to the air fryer basket in an even layer. The tots can touch but not overlap.
Spray them lightly with cooking oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Air fry the tater tots at 400°F for 5 minutes.
Open the basket and shake the tots to turn them over for even, crispy cooking. Then air fry for another 5-7 minutes or until your tots are golden and crisp.
Remove the tater tots from the basket and set them aside.
Then wipe the basket clean and line it with parchment paper, a silicon basket, or a paper air fryer liner.
Place the tater tots back in the lined basket and top with warm chili and shredded cheese.
Air fry for 5 minutes at 350°F or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
NOTES
I use Ore Ida frozen tater tots in this recipe.
This recipe is a delicious way to use up leftover chili. First, warm it up before pouring it onto the tater tots so everything cooks evenly.
If you use parchment paper, ensure it doesn’t touch the upper heating elements.
