INSTRUCTIONS
Lightly spray or brush olive oil on both sides of the tortillas. Place two in the air fryer basket to crisp up for 4 minutes at 380°F.
After 4 minutes, leave one tortilla in the basket. Spread half of the refried beans on the tortilla, then layer half the taco meat.
Next, lay the second crispy tortilla shell on top of the meat to create a quesadilla.
Spoon half of the Taco Bell Taco Sauce over the top tortilla, then sprinkle on half of the shredded cheese.
Air fry at 325°F for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and the Mexican pizza is warmed through.
Use a large spatula to lift the pizza out of the air fryer basket, then sprinkle with half a Roma tomato and half of the green onions. Cut it into quarters and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Repeat the process to make a second Mexican pizza.
NOTES
If you use leftover taco meat, warm it up on the stovetop or microwave before layering it onto your Mexican pizza, so it heats at the same rate as the other ingredients.
You can add your toppings before or after air frying the Mexican pizza, depending on if you like your toppings cooked or not.
Add hot sauce or pepper jack cheese if you’d like more spice in your pizza!
