INSTRUCTIONS
Drain the green beans and pat them dry.
Cut all the bacon strips in half (creating 28 bundles)
Lay the half pieces of bacon on a flat surface, add 3-4 green beans to the inside end of each slice and roll up the bacon.
Place half of the batch (about 15 green bean bundles) seam side down into the air fryer, without stacking.
Cook on 380 degrees fahrenheit for 8 minutes.
While the green bean bundles are cooking, melt the butter in a small microwave-safe bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds or until melted then mix in the brown sugar until it's dissolved. This will create a thick glaze.
Open the air fryer and brush the glaze evenly over the bacon wrapped green beans.
Cook for an additional 8 minutes or until liking.
Use tongs to take the green bean bundles out of the air fryer and place them on a serving tray or plate.
NOTES
Leftovers should be stored in the fridge in an airtight container. They will last up to 3 days.
You can prep them the day before and keep them in the refrigerator the night before you plan to cook and serve them…just wait to add the brown sugar glaze until the recipe mentions.
Reheat them in the microwave for 30-45 seconds or until heated through. You can reheat in the air fryer but you have to be careful that they don’t get overly crispy since you will essentially be baking them for a second time.
