Buttery, cinnamon-y, tender, and so easy to make- you just can’t go wrong with these easy air fryer apples!
INGREDIENTS
3PcsGranny Smith Apples , (peeled, cored, and sliced)
1tspBrown Sugar
1 1/5tspCinnamon
1pinchSea Salt
3tbspPure Maple Syrup , (divided)
2tbspUnsalted Butter , (melted)

INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-heat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
Peel, core, and slice apples.
In a large bowl add the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix to evenly combine.
Coat the apple mixture with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and the melted butter. Stir to combine until the apple slices are evenly coated.
When the air fryer is hot, add the apple slices in a single layer and cook at 380 degrees for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes of cooking, flip the apples and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the apples appear golden.
Drizzle with the remaining maple syrup and serve immediately with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
NOTES
All air fryers are different. I used the Cosori Air fryer for this recipe. You may have to adjust time and temperature if you have a different model.Storage Instructions:
These apples are best served fresh and warm out of the air fryer. If you do have leftovers, they can be reheated in the microwave.
Recipe Success Tips:
Cut the apples into uniform slices to ensure they cook evenly and all at the same time.
If you prefer sweeter apples I recommend using Honey Crisp. Granny Smith apples are more on the tart side but they are delicious paired with the sweet maple syrup and ice cream.
Feel free to add any additional spices that you like, like nutmeg and allspice, or even season with apple pie spice if you have it on hand.
