HELPFUL NOTES:
- All air fryers are different. I used the Cosori Air fryer for this recipe. You may have to adjust time and temperature if you have a different model.
- Remember to cut the apples such that all the pieces are nearly equal in size. This will ensure that they are all cooked perfectly.
- Feel free to add any additional spices that you like, like nutmeg and allspice, or even season with apple pie spice if you have it on hand.
- These air fryer apples are best served fresh and warm out of the air fryer. If you do have leftovers, they can be reheated in the microwave.

FAQS & SUBSTITUTIONS/VARIATIONS:
While this recipe calls for the use of Granny Smith apples, you could also use any other crisp and sweet apples you have at hand. Honey Crisp, Gala, Fuji and Golden Delicious are all great choices too!
Love that subtle sauciness and cinnamon-y deliciousness of the end result? Use a little extra butter while air frying the apples, and you’ll get to enjoy saucier apples.
These versatile air fryer apples can be served as a side with any of your roast meats. If you’re planning to whip them up for dessert, don’t forget to pair them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. And of course, you can also use them as a topping on your breakfast oatmeal, pancakes and French toast.
