INSTRUCTIONS
Unroll the crescent roll sheets and pinch the perforated seams together. Cut the crescent roll sheet into 10 equal rectangles using a cookie dough cutter.
If you use leftover taco meat, warm it slightly in the microwave or stovetop. Then distribute the taco meat evenly among the crescent roll rectangles, leaving room around the edges.
Cut the colby jack cheese sticks in half and place one half on each of the rectangles.
Next, gather opposite ends of the dough and pinch them together over the centre of the cheese stick. Repeat for the other sides, gathering the dough together and covering the meat and cheese entirely. Flip them over so the gathered dough is on the bottom.
Melt butter and mix it with garlic powder.
Brush each rectangle with garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley.
Place the cheesy taco sticks in the air fryer, leaving space between each one. You may need to cook them in batches. Air fry at 350°F for 5 minutes.
Flip the cheesy taco sticks and cook for 5-7 minutes more minutes or until browned and crisp to your liking.
NOTES
If you like spice, try adding jalapeno, hot sauce, or pepper jack cheese to your taco sticks.
Make this dish vegetarian by swapping out taco meat for seasoned beans.
This is a great recipe to make when you have extra taco meat in your fridge.
