Air Fryer Wonton Tacos

These Air Fryer wonton tacos make for a splendid appetizer or finger food for your next party or get-together, and are a total crowd-pleaser.

EQUIPMENT

  • 1 Air Fryer

INGREDIENTS
  

  • 8 pcs Wonton Wrappers
  • 1/2 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1 cup Refried Beans
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup Salsa

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Brown your ground beef on the stovetop, drain the grease and add ½ a packet of taco seasoning and 1 tablespoon of water to the meat. Take off the heat but keep in the pan to stay warm.
  • Lay a wonton wrapper out flat and assemble them one at a time by adding about a tablespoon of refried beans, tablespoon of taco meat, tablespoon of shredded cheese and a dollop of salsa in the center of the wrapper, just don't over stuff. Use a dab of water to wrap and seal the wonton.
  • Spray wonton tacos with oil on both sides and place in your air fryer basket without overlapping.
  • Air fryer at 390 degrees F for 5-7 minutes, or until fully crispy.

Storage Instructions:
  • These Air Fryer wonton tacos can be made in a batch and frozen for later. Just remember to store them in a freezer safe bag or container to prevent freezer burn.
  • If you have any leftovers, just transfer them to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days. To reheat them, pop them in a preheated Air Fryer for a minute or two, until they crisp up a bit.

  • What Can I Use Instead of Ground Beef? If you don't have ground beef, you can use ground chicken, ground turkey or even ground lamb as a substitute.
