How To Make Air Fryer Donut Holes
- Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces, they will look like small triangles.
- Place each donut hole into your air fryer basket and air fry at 350 degrees F for 8 minutes total, shaking halfway through at the 4 minute mark.
- While the donuts are cooking, pour the cinnamon and sugar into a gallon size freezer bag and set aside.
- Now melt 1 stick of butter in a large mixing bowl.
- Remove the air fried donut holes from the basket, place them into the large bowl of melted butter and toss to fully coat.
- Transfer the coated donut holes to the cinnamon sugar mixture and shake until all sides of each donut hole are covered.
- If you want to make an icing, just whisk together powdered sugar, milk and vanilla until you get your desired consistency and drizzle on top or serve alongside the donut holes in a small bowl for dipping.

Tips When Making Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts
- Be sure to use a large freezer bag for your cinnamon-sugar mixture so there is enough room to shake the donuts properly, and be sure not to overcrowd the bag.
- It is also important to not overcrowd the basket of the air fryer and stick to a single layer of donut holes at a time. This will allow the hot air to circulate properly and cook evenly.
- Allow the cooked donut holes to cool a little on a wire rack before eating as they can be very hot inside.
Variations For Air Fryer Donut Bites
- If you’re not a fan of the cinnamon sugar coating you can opt for icing or glaze (see recipe card)
- You can use plain sugar or powdered sugar as a classic topping that adds a nice sweet touch to the donut bites.
- Make a chocolate glaze by adding cocoa powder to the icing recipe below and pour over the donut bites for a chocolatey treat.
- Drizzle some store-bought or homemade caramel sauce over the donut bites for a rich and delicious topping.
- Add some fun to your donut bites with colorful sprinkles or add coloring to your icing.
- Melt some white chocolate and drizzle over the donut bites or dip them in the white chocolate for a different chocolatey twist.
