FAQS

Why are the skins on the potatoes not crispy?

If the potatoes weren’t completely dry, they won’t get crispy in the air fryer. Be sure to dry them well before covering them in oil.

Do you have to pierce a potato before cooking in the air fryer?

There’s no need to pierce the potatoes when cooking with an air fryer.

When cooking with an air fryer, do I need to wrap my potatoes in foil?

Wrapping them in foil will hold in moisture, and you won’t get a crispy potato skin. Skip the foil and put the potatoes directly in the air fryer basket.
