How to Make Deviled Eggs in the Air Fryer
- Place the eggs directly on the grate in an air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 250°F for 15-17 minutes. Once done, remove the eggs from the air fryer and place them into a large bowl with ice water. Allow them to sit for 5-10 minutes before peeling.
- Once peeled, cut each egg in half lengthways. Then, carefully scoop the yolks into a medium bowl and use a fork to break them up.
- Add the mayonnaise, relish, salt, and pepper to the yolks and mix thoroughly. Divide the deviled egg filling equally among the egg whites and dust with paprika.
Helpful Notes:
- Air fryers are all a bit different so I recommend making a hard-boiled egg as a test if you haven’t made them in the air fryer before.
- Allow the eggs to cool completely in an ice bath for easier peeling.
- I prefer to pat the relish dry before adding it to the yolk mixture so the filling doesn’t become runny.
Storage and Reheating Instructions:
Deviled eggs store well and are delicious the next day!
IN THE FRIDGE: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
IN THE FREEZER: Deviled eggs aren’t good candidates for freezing. I recommend you make a fresh batch when you want to serve them.
