- Drain green beans then add them to the air fryer basket and air fry for 4 minutes at 325 degrees F. (this allows the green beans to warm up a bit first.
- While the green beans are warming in the air fryer, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, pepper and salt in a large bowl.
- When the green beans are done, remove them from the basket and add to the soup mixture, then toss together.
- Pour this casserole mixture into a baking dish or foil pan that fits into your air fryer basket. This recipe uses a Cosori Dula Blaze 6.8 Qt and allows for an 8 inch baking dish.
- Place the baking dish in the air fryer and air fry at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes until heated through (stirring at the halfway point).
- Then add fried onions to the top of the casserole in an even layer and air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until crispy.
HELPFUL NOTES:
- Substitute the cream of mushroom soup with cream of potato soup or cream of chicken soup to bring about a bit of variation in flavor.
- If you’re using frozen green beans for the recipe, remember to cook them from frozen- do not wait for them to thaw.
- To make the top of the casserole more crispy and delicious, sprinkle some bread crumbs along with the onions, and then air fry it.

I tried this recipe today. It was easy to prepare and less than half the bake time in a regular oven. Love how crispy the fried onions were! I am sure when I reheat my leftovers those onions will hold that crispness. Thank you!
