How to Make Corn on the Cob in the Air Fryer
- Remove the husks from each ear of corn if needed. Rinse corn and pat dry.
- Set corn on a large plate, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle on salt and pepper, then roll the corn around to cover all sides.
- Place the seasoned ears of corn in a single layer in the air fryer basket, then cook for 6 minutes at 360°F.
- Open the basket, flip each piece, then cook for an additional 6 minutes.
- Butter each piece and sprinkle on some freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm.
Helpful Notes:
- Each air fryer is different, so the number of cobs that fit will depend on the size of yours. Just be sure to keep a single layer of corn in the basket, and cook in batches if necessary.
- Mix up the flavor and try adding your favorite herbs and spices.
- With virtually no prep, this recipe is a fast and easy side dish.
Storage and Reheating Instructions:
I recommend eating corn on the cob fresh, but it can be stored in the fridge and reheated for another meal.
IN THE FRIDGE: Allow the cobs to cool fully before placing them in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
IN THE FREEZER: This recipe doesn’t freeze well, so we recommend you only cook what you plan on eating. If you really want to save your leftovers, cut the corn off the cobs and place in Ziploc bags. Keep in the freezer for up to a month.
REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS: To reheat, place the cobs in a single layer in the air fryer at 360°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
FAQS
I recommend using fresh corn for the best taste, but frozen corn can be substituted. Thaw the cobs of corn fully and pat dry before using, or use from frozen and add an additional 5 to 10 minutes of cooking time.
There are a lot of different oils you can use in place of olive oil. If it’s safe to use in the oven, it can be used in the air fryer. These oils include canola oil, coconut oil, and vegetable oil but there are several more options.
It’s not necessary for this recipe but you certainly can. Wrapping the corn in foil will essentially steam your corn making it very hot, so be extra careful when unwrapping them.
