How to Make Meatloaf in the Air Fryer
- In a large bowl, whisk together egg and water.
- To this bowl, add ground beef, Stove Top stuffing, ¼ cup ketchup, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Combine with your hands just until mixed.
- Shape the meat into 2 loaves and place them in the air fryer.
- Air Fry at 350°F for 15 minutes. If the loaves are getting too brown, place foil over the tops of them then continue cooking for 10 more minutes.
- While the meatloaves are cooking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, stir together the remaining ½ cup of ketchup and brown sugar.
- After 25 minutes, open the air fryer and brush the glaze onto the tops and sides of the meatloaves.
- Continue air frying at 350°F for another 10 minutes.
- Check for doneness and measure the internal temperature. If the thermometer does not reach 160°F, continue to cook the meatloaves at 5-minute intervals.
- When the meatloaves are done, allow them to rest in the basket for at least 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Helpful Notes:
- Leave space between the meatloaves to allow air to circulate between them.
- Each air fryer is different, so the cooking time may fluctuate depending on your model. Check your meatloaf often, especially towards the end of the cooking time to ensure it doesn’t burn.
- Don’t try baking this in one big loaf, as it won’t cook evenly. If your air fryer isn’t big enough for 2 loaves, cook them in batches or freeze an uncooked loaf for a future meal.

This looks great. I am confused about cooking time. The recipe says 45 minutes total at top but when toy read recipe I read it as 15 minutes, 10 minutes and 10 minutes. Can you clarify? I am new to air frying.

Sure, the recipe mentions that after the 15, 10, 10 minutes to cook an additional 5 minutes if needed then rest in the basket for 5 minutes before serving, sorry…its a little confusing but I just wanted to add the possible full amount of cook time so people know it could be longer than 35 minutes depending on how fast your air fryer cooks. 🙂
