HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER DESSERT TACOS
- Mix together the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl and then pour it onto a large plate.
- Lightly brush both sides of each tortilla with melted butter one at a time. Then lay each side of the buttered tortilla in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat all over.
- Bend each one into a taco shape and use each of the tortillas to prop each other up in the air fryer basket. (If you have a leger basket, you can do more, if a smaller, less) It’s ok for the tortillas to touch, it won’t affect their ability to toast.
- Air fry the cinnamon sugar tortillas for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- While the tortillas are frying, make the whipped cream.
- Pour the cold heavy cream in a large bowl and beat with a handheld or stand mixer on high until soft peaks form. Then add powdered sugar and vanilla and continue beating until stiff.
- Once the tortilla tacos are done cooking, remove them to a plate. As soon as they are cool enough to work with, add chopped strawberries to each dessert taco base, the whipped cream and drizzle each one with chocolate syrup and sprinkle on a few additional strawberries to each one.
