HOW TO MAKE STEAK BITES IN THE AIR FRYER
- Cube your steak into 1 inch cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the olive oil, Worchestire sauce, parsley and salt and pepper to the bowl and toss to evenly coat.
- Add the seasoned steak bites to your air fryer basket in a single layer, not overlapping.
- Air fry at 400 degrees F for 7 minutes
- While the steak bites are cooking, place your butter in a small mixing bowl and microwave it until melted. Toss in your garlic powder, chopped parsley and whisk together.
- Once the steak bites are done cooking, toss them in garlic butter sauce and serve warm.
- *These times cook to well done. If you prefer a bit more pink in your steak, try 370 degrees for 5 minutes and check the doneness. *And if you want a bit of char on the outside, use the broil mode for 1 minute extra.
HELPFUL NOTES:
- Make sure all the steak bites are roughly the same size. This will ensure that they’re all cooked to perfection when you’re done.
- Remember to preheat your Air Fryer. This will help the bites caramelize and get that nice char on the outside that you’re looking for.
STORAGE AND REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Your leftover Air Fryer steak bites can be transferred to a glass container and refrigerated for up to 2 days. To reheat them, you can microwave them if you don’t mind the softness, or air fry them if you prefer the slight crispiness on the outside.
FAQS & SUBSTITUTIONS/VARIATIONS:
This one’s a bit tricky. The amount of time depends on your Air Fryer model and on how you want your steak cooked. If you want a bit more pink in the middle, cook on 370 degrees for 5 minutes and check from there.
To bring about a bit of variation, you can modify the seasonings or even add in some veggies to make the dish healthier. Season the bites with some brown sugar, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, chopped parsley and garlic powder for some extra deliciousness.
You can also include some sliced mushrooms, asparagus spears, green beans and even broccoli florets into the mix.
These versatile Air Fryer steak bites can be paired with practically anything- some buttered noodles, steamed rice or even some pan-fried or oven roasted veggies if you prefer a low carb meal.
