How to Make Roast Beef in the Air Fryer
- Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400°F.
- Rise the roast and pat dry. Rub the roast with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sprinkle with your favorite steak seasoning. Place the roast in the air fryer at 400°F for 15 minutes.
- While the roast sears, toss the potatoes and carrots with the remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Once the roast is done searing, turn the air fryer down to 325°F, add the potatoes and carrots to the air fryer basket, and cook for 25 minutes
- Check the roast for doneness with a thermometer. The internal temperature should be 145°F. If the roast isn’t cooked through, continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes. If the vegetables are tender, remove them from the air fryer and cover.
- Once the roast is cooked, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing
